Vocal Music Notes!Welcome back to an exciting year of music at Merrill Middle School! The vocal music department is looking forward to many concerts featuring your children - singing songs from around the world, across decades of musical styles - including songs from your past, songs of today, and songs of our own. MISSION STATEMENT: My mission as a teacher is to transfer the love of music and the confidence it has given me to students. Vocal and instrumental music uniquely combine social, emotional, and intellectual potential that last a lifetime. Because of my passion for music, I not only teach but continue to perform and learn. This is a perspective many educators lack. Music offers us the opportunity to communicate with others.
