8th Grade ChoirCheck out the 8th grade choir! 8th grade choir is open to all interested 8th grade students. Vocal production skills, performance techniques and performance opportunities will be offered through-out the year. The 7th and 8th grade choir will be performing at the end of each quarter. Soloists and small groups are encouraged to develop through-out the year. An opera / musical unit is also a part of 8th grade choir. Class requirements: All seventh and eighth grade students are required to provide a 90 minute cassette tape or 80 minute recordable CD for music class. This class will have the songs that are in the repertoire for that quarter's concert. Your child will be able to practice at home, increasing their knowledge of the songs, vocal production, and helping them memorize the words for the performance. If you have any questions, or difficulties obtaining a tape or cd, please contact me at 720-424-0662. Members of the 8th grade choir will be telling you about what they have done in class. Learning how to breathe correctly, memorizing song, learning about American musicals, the 8th graders will share their experiences, and maybe a few pictures. Return to: Vocal Music Notes!
