7th Grade Choir7th grade choir will be learning vocal production skills, performance techniques, and have the opportunity to perform with the 8th grade choir at the during the semester. An opera / musical unit is also a part of 7th grade choir. Class requirements: All seventh and eighth grade students are required to provide a 90 minute cassette tape or 80 recordable CD for music class. This class will have the songs that are in the repertoire for that quarter's concert. Your child will be able to practice at home, increasing their knowledge of the songs, vocal production, and helping them memorize the words for the performance. If you have any questions, or difficulties obtaining a tape or cd, please contact me at 720-424-0662. We have lots of new experiences to share - learning how to read choral music, learning how to use good vocal production. We'll be doing a concert at the end of the quarter and we have lots of rehearsals to get us in tip-top shape.
