Newcomer Activities

Since Newcomer students are new to the country, we try to expose them to as many American experiences as possible so they will understand how to be successful in our society. Here are upcoming activities we have planned.

December
Visit to the public library to become familiar with their resourses and to encourage students to become life-long readers. Talking about various customs during holidays which concluded with making gingerbread houses.

January                                                                                              Talking about many different animals and their habitats concluding with a visit to The National Western Stock Show.
