Parents please check your child's planner daily to see if they are recording their assignments. If you need any further clarification or do not understand the assignment please contact the teacher or myself.

The Eighth grade is on a block schedule.

If your child has science period 2, that class meets on Monday, Wednesday during period 2 and 3 and period 2 on Friday.

They should complete science homework that evening.

If they have social studies period 3, that class meets on Tuesday, Thursday for periods 2 and 3 and during period 3 on Friday. They should work on social studies homework that evening.

Please note, if it is a short week, the teachers will notify the students on any changes in their schedules.

In order to help your child, I will try to have the upcoming landmarks in my room on Friday, so that they can work on them over the weekend. They can also complete a current event on the weekend.

Book letters can also be completed on weekends. These are usually due on Tuesday (Rehkopf) Friday (Ms. Abu).

By completing some of these weekly assignments on the weekend, your child should have more time during the week to work on specific assignments.
